Is Scrimly free to use?
Yes — the Free plan is free forever. It includes roster management, season tracking, and team chat. Upgrade to Coach or Club to unlock AI bilingual message generation.
Do I need to speak Spanish to use Scrimly?
Not at all. You write your message in English (or just fill in a few details), and Scrimly generates a polished version in both English and Spanish automatically. No translation knowledge required.
What message types does Scrimly support?
Scrimly currently supports 8 message types: Game Recap, Schedule Change, Reminder, Payment Due, Cancellation, Motivation, Tryout Info, and Season Wrap. Each is tuned for its specific context.
How do parents receive the messages?
Scrimly generates the message text — you share it your way. Copy it and paste into WhatsApp, iMessage, email, or any group you already use. No new app for parents to download.
Can I manage multiple teams?
On the Coach plan, you can manage one team at a time. The Club plan includes unlimited teams, multi-team broadcast messaging, and a shared club admin dashboard.
How does roster import work?
Upload a .csv or .xlsx file from your registration platform, and Scrimly maps player names, positions, and parent contact info automatically. You can also add players manually one by one.
